The Embassy of Italy in Pretoria is organising the webinar “The African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA): opportunities, constraints and way ahead” on 11 March at 10 am South Africa time (9 am in Italy).
AfCFTA is a very significant development for the economies of Africa and is set to offer unprecedented opportunities to all companies interested in investing and operating in the African market.
The webinar is aimed at shedding light the progress underway to make the AfCFTA operational and examine in detail the business opportunities that will open up. The event, especially tailored to Italian companies, which have always been particularly active in Africa, will pay special attention to South Africa, the continent’s most advanced economy playing a pivotal role in the AfCFTA.
The seminar is organized in collaboration with the Italian-South African Chamber of Trade and Industries, ICE/ITA Johannesburg, Department of Trade Industry and Competition, AfCFTA, Confindustria Assafrica e Mediterraneo, Polytechnic University of Marche, Africa e Business, BUSA, DNA Economics.
