On November 4th, 2018, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the end of the First World War and to celebrate Italy’s National Unity and Armed Forces Day has visited the Military Memorial of Redipuglia, paying hommage to the fallen soldiers.
He then presided over the ceremony commemorating the 100th anniversary of the end of First World War in Piazza Unità d’Italia in Trieste.
