NOTICE TO ITALIAN VOTERS – Constituency of Pretoria, Lesotho, Madagascar, Mauritius and Namibia
The delivery of the ballots for the 2026 CONSTITUTIONAL REFERENDUM will begin on the 4th of March 2026.
The courier companies BEX Express/DHL Express will inform each voter, whose contact details they have, via SMS/WhatsApp/Email within two days. If the first delivery attempt is unsuccessful, and if a contact number is available, prior to another delivery attempt a phone call will be made by the courier.

Upon receiving the ballot package, each voter can vote immediately and return the envelope, containing the ballot paper, to the same courier or alternatively schedule an appointment for the following days. Voters that have not received the electoral package, since the 8th of March can request a duplicate by emailing: consolato.pretoria@esteri.it or via PEC: amb.pretoria.consolare@cert.esteri.it, by using the available form and attaching a valid identification document, while also declaring to be aware of the criminal liabilities resulting in a duplicate vote.
All prepaid envelopes containing the completed ballots must be delivered to this Embassy strictly by 16h00 on Thursday the 19th of March 2026. After which they will no longer be valid.
