On 3–4 March, a roadshow organised by the Embassy was held to promote investment and golf-related tourism in Italy. Following similar events held in Cape Town last year, the focus for 2026 was on the Gauteng Province, with a two-day event taking place in Johannesburg and Lanseria.
The first meeting took place at the prestigious ‘Il Lusso’ in Sandton (Johannesburg), a true showcase of excellence in high-end Italian furniture, whilst the second was held at the exclusive ‘Blair Athol’ golf club in Lanseria (Pretoria) and was followed by a well-attended golf tournament.
The approximately 60 selected participants were able to attend targeted seminars featuring high-profile speakers from leading business and consultancy firms, as well as diplomatic staff.
