The Com.It.Es elections<\/strong> are currently scheduled for 3 December 2021<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In order to vote, you must express the option to vote by 3 November 2021.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n The jurisdiction of the Com.It.Es. of Pretoria is the same as the consular jurisdiction of the Embassy and includes the city of Pretoria, and Lesotho, Madagascar, Mauritius and Namibia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n To this end:<\/p>\n It is necessary to complete the form<\/a> and return via email, with a copy of a valid ID document, to: consolato.pretoria@esteri.it<\/a>, o<\/strong>r deliver the documentation to the Embassy of Italy in Pretoria<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Alternatively you may communicate the option to vote by way of the Fast-It portal<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Those who live in the jurisdictions of the Com.It.Es. of Johannesburg \u2013 the same as that of the Consulate-General in Johannesburg<\/a> (Gauteng excluding Pretoria, Free State, KZN, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, North West) or of the Com.It.Es. of Cape Town \u2013 the same as that of the Consulate in Cape Town<\/a> (Western Cape, Eatsern Cape, Northern Cape), please check their pages. One can express up to four preferences.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n The Com.It.Es. \u2013 on the side of Italians in the world<\/strong><\/p>\n What are they?<\/span><\/p>\n Established in 1985, Com.It.Es. are elected bodies that represent compatriots abroad, in relations with Embassies and Consulates and for inclusion in the countries in which they operate.<\/p>\n What is their function?<\/span><\/p>\n They represent the Italian Community, promoting its interests; they favour the introduction of the new mobility and preserve the historical memory of Italian emigration.<\/p>\n How many are there?<\/span><\/p>\n In the world there are 108 Com. It. Es., of which 50 in Europe, 44 in the Americas, 7 in Asia and Oceania, 4 in the Middle East and 3 in Sub-Saharan Africa.
