Second Edition of 'Vivo d'Arte', competition for young Italian artists abroad

The second edition of "Vivo d’Arte", the competition dedicated to young Italian artists (under 36 years of age) permanently residing abroad (for at least a year), has started. The success of the first edition confirmed the initiative as an excellent tool to enhance the creativity and talent of our young compatriots residing abroad and to encourage collaboration and understanding of other cultures.

Also this year the competition will be divided into two distinct sections, one dedicated to the Performing Arts, the other to the Visual Arts, in collaboration respectively with the Romaeuropa Foundation and with the Museum of Modern Art in Bologna and with the participation of the MiBACT.

As with previous competitions, the winning project of the Visual Arts section will be performing in Rome on October 21, 2020, as part of the next edition of the Romaeuropa Festival.

The announcement of the Performing Arts section will be followed in the coming months by the launch of "Vivo d’Arte - Visual Arts", which will offer the winner the opportunity to present an artistic performance at the prestigious Museum of Modern Art in Bologna (MAMBO).
