The Embassy of Italy in Pretoria announces that – following the outcome of the call for tenders dated September 2018 for the contract of outsourcing the collection of Visa applications for Italy – the new contract has been awarded to VF Worldwide Holdings (VFS) through its South African branch VFS Visa Handling Services South Africa. The new service provider will operate in the consular jurisdiction of Pretoria (Tshwane municipality) and in that of the Consulate-General in Johannesburg (the rest of Gauteng, North West, Limpopo, Mpumalanga, Free State and Kwa-Zulu Natal provinces of South Africa, plus Botswana).
As from 2nd May 2019, all visa applications for Italy will have to be submitted through one of the following VFS offices, exclusively dedicated to Italy.
